Sabotage Description:
The Sabotage set was launched in 1969 and was popular right up to the end of production in 1983. Although it never had a uniform as such, people like to pair it with the French Resistance Fighter outfit, basic soldier fatigues, or less often with the Beachhead Jungle Camo outfit pictured. Palitoy frequently picture it with the French Resistance clothes in the Equipment Manuals and on some of the packaging, whilst in 1968 GI Joe produced a repackaged Sabotage box set with the Marine camo outfits pictured.

Notes:
The Sabotage set had a long run and notable changes were made over the years. The dingy came with a lozenge shaped cardboard floor insert to stabilise the shape. It is thought the black dinghy always had paddle loops to stow the paddle. The paddle had a yellow tip painted across the ends. The black dingy in the Special Mission Pod (at least some of the time) did not have these loops. The hat changed from knitted to plastic, elastic straps changed to plastic (binoculars and machine pistol). Why the binoculars were red within such a stealth-themed set remains a mystery. Later sets swapped them in favour of black. The gas mask, unlike the British Infantryman, only had one filter section - typically in an emerald green as opposed to khaki/green. Earlier radio sets had typical hinges and were a darker green, and later had tabbed hinges and were lighter green in colour and a softer mix plastic. Ealy beanie hats were woolen, later plastic molded.
