Demolitions Engineer Description:
"Kit out your Action Man for every phase of military service with these authentic true-scale equipment sets", read the Equipment Manual. The 'Construction' Demolitions Engineer, is basically an accessorised Action Soldier (option to wear Beachhead Assault 'Jungle' tunic and trousers equipment cards from the previous two years). See also Action Man Engineer Surveyor. The accessories could be bought separately and included:

Notes:
The Action Man Demolitions Engineer (and Engineer Surveyor) equipment cards do not appear in any Equipment Manuals but their catalogue numbers are consistent with those from 1967-1968. The Demolitions Engineer has a hard hat, and should perhaps be considered distinct from the Action Man Engineer Surveyor, which had a military Helmet. The jackhammer is hard to find unbroken, and the grey gloves are unique, and considered rare. Many other accessories were available for pocket money prices, and it would have taken a few trips to the toy shop to get a completely kitted out Soldier. The Army Manual (that was included with the boxed Action Soldier) had details of how to set up figures, and the accessories available.
