Action Man Snowcat Description:
Part of Palitoy's TASK FORCE transport fleet, the Snowcat is a Hasbro designed all-terrain vehicle for Action Man and has three axles with snow tracks and takes one Action Man as driver. The white shell has spray painted stenciled camouflage in olive green. Due to perhaps in part, that the Action Man Snowcat did not make the 1979 Equipment Poster in time for print, and was probably out of stock by the next Equipment poster of 1981, it remains one of the rarer vehicles. As many snowcats were used in snow at any opportunity the stickers are often wrinkled or missing (sticker replacements available here). Action Man's French licensed version of the brand - 'Group Action Joe' - had a UK produced version* of the Snowcat ('Chenillette Tout Terrain') came with the working winch from the Power Hog vehicle and a Husky dog.
Notes:
This Hasbro-derived vehicle (with roots going back to the GI Joe Adventure Team Vehicle) is uncommon but fairly robust - not too many are broken beyond practical use. A similar vehicle, in green plastic, without the tracks is the Power-Hog and the 'Space Ranger Planetary Patrol Vehicle' in black livery.
*We know the sticker sheets for the Team Action Joe (at least) were more than likely produced in the UK and shipped to France, because a sticker sheet (which incidentally also had Palitoy's 'L' reference number convention in use) had handwriting on it with the words 'Lay' along one edge. Printers use a 'lay edge' to line up sheets squarely for the guillotine to make cuts and separate into individual sheets. This would make that sticker sheet the very top one, and would normally be discarded. Thanks go to Ian Moore of Eagleeyesactionstation who brought the sheet to my attention.
