Brutus Description:
Action Man's best friend. The Action Man guard dog named Brutus which was a Mastiff, was available as part of the Action Man Star Scheme rewards programme for many years and is very common. For 10 stars, cut from the packaging of Palitoy products, Brutus could be yours. It first appears on a 1968 Action Man Star Card alongside the new Royal Canadian Mounted Police outfit, all the way through to 1978 - thereafter being swapped out for a husky dog.
Notes:
The Action Man Brutus Guard Dog was a popular accessory. He came with a collar and metal chain. He is often paired with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police set, also popular through the Star Card Scheme.
