My dear Nan used to buy me something like these on long arduous walks to the shops. They were a real treat, you`d open a packet (like a packet of collector stickers) and inside would be the gum, tatoos, cards etc. Fond memories! In the late 70s were decent sized furry Mr Men toys too, these two items seem linked in my memory of crap you could buy at that time!!!!

Same here, I was asked if I wanted to go as the Raf were paying after my dad passed away in 74, I was keen as it sounded great, the Gordon boys school brought about as a remembrance to general gordon. We had limited access to the local shop too in west end near woking.
